Where there is no vision the people parish.

A church can only go as far as the vision of their Pastor. Our Pastor has been a visionary since the beginning. Our Pastor has endeavored in every aspect to employ all of his resources in the service of his God. It is evident that the Lord has blessed his endeavors thus far and will continue to bless him in the future. The Spirit of Excellence permeates the atmosphere at New Life Tabernacle. The best is yet to come.

The fundamental desire and burden of Pastor and Sister Davy for the city of Tampa is the salvation of lost souls. Our Pastor has declared the vision that has been given to him by God for our congregation. It is a vision that is to be realized in two stages.

Our current facility seats 700 people comfortably. We have filled this sanctuary to capacity and now with our current attendance reaching over 1200 people hold two morning services. This has been the result of our concerted outreach and evangelism efforts.

It is our intention to build a 3500 seat sanctuary on a new property here in the city of Tampa. The new development will include our K12 school program, a Family Life Center, a home for the aged, a home for troubled teens and a Bible School.

We have firmed the location of this new facility and now are going through the various processes needed before construction can begin. We project that construction will begin during the 2nd quarter of 2007 and end approximately 1 year later.

In the mean time, we have been procuring information about what it will take to fill and operate this size facility. There will be various areas of concentration such as, seating, lighting, cooling, sound engineering, etc that will need to be considered and items purchased before we can hold our first service in this facility.
